Used to detect IgM antibodies, which are often caused by recent exposure to Herpes 1 or 2.
Herpes Simplex Virus Transmission
Usually passed through skin-to-skin contact with a herpes outbreak or lesion. It is possible to pass herpes on to a partner even when there is no apparent outbreak; this is known as asymptomatic viral shedding.
