Vendor Credential Panel:

If you work in a hospital or supply medical equiptment to a hospital or similar organization you may be required to go through a process called vendor credentialing. Although we cannot cover the entire credentialing and compliance services, we can provide the lab testing you may need for one reasonable cost.

What does the vendor credential panel include?

The lab tests that you are required to take may vary, but commonly required tests include a 10 panel urine drug test, MMR titer (measles, mumps, rubella), varicella IgG titer , and hepatitis B surface antibody titer.

Results Turnaround:

Usually 1-3 business days.

Cost:

MMR titer: $199
Hepatitis B titer: $79
Varicella IgG titer: $99
10 panel urine drug test: $79
Entire panel: $369 (save $88)

Clinical Use:

This panel provides tests that are often required for vendor credentials.
Not included: TB test or any paperwork including code of ethics, OSHA/blood borne pathogens, background verifications (criminal background check, sexual offender registry, sanction screens), or statement of insurance liability letter.
Note: Vendor credential requirements may vary per state or organization.

Transmission:

MMR: Measles, mumps, and rubella are primarily transmitted through coughing and sneezing.
Varicella: Varicella is primarily transmitted via direct contact with a varicella lesion.
Hepatitis B: Traces of hepatitis B have been found in blood, sweat, tears, saliva, semen, vaginal secretions, menstrual blood, and breast milk. Although there has been some conflict regarding the transmission of hepatitis B, the most likely modes of transmission include exposure to infected blood, semen, and/or vaginal secretions.

Window Period:

MMR: Receiving a recent vaccination for MMR or varicella can affect the results of a test. If you have received a vaccination it is important to discuss this when arranging testing.
Hepatitis B: Surface antibodies can be detectable as early as 6 weeks, waiting 6 to 12 weeks is encouraged, but detection can sometimes take longer.

CDC Recommendations:

MMR: There is a two-step vaccination process for MMR. The first dose is ideally given between 12 and 15 months of age, and the second dose given between 4 and 6 years of age. The vaccination can also be given to adults who have not yet received it.
Hepatitis B: Everyone is encouraged to receive a Hepatitis B vaccination, except those with severe allergies to components of the vaccine.
