Q: I will be taking my first pre employment drug test next week. I’m new to the workforce, and have never experienced the drug testing process. Can you tell me what to expect when I go to your testing facility for the drug test?

A: The drug testing process is usually extremely simple. Upon your arrival, you will fill out any necessary paperwork and provide a photo ID. The technician will then take you to a private room to provide the specimen. You will have to submit a urine sample for a urine drug test or a hair sample for a hair follicle test. The type of sample you must submit depends on the type of testing your potential employer has selected.
